We’re thrilled to introduce Karolina, the newest stylist to join Imagine Salon & Spa! Get to know her a little better through this fun Q&A:

Q: How long have you been a hairstylist?

Karolina: I’ve been in the industry for 21 years — and still love every minute of it!

Q: What inspired you to become a hairstylist?

Karolina: I’ve always been naturally creative and fascinated by science. I wanted to blend those passions into a career where I could make people feel happy, confident, and loved. Hairstyling was the perfect fit.

Q: What brought you to Halifax?

Karolina: I was ready for a change, and I fell in love with the vibe of the East Coast — it’s beautiful and full of charm.

Q: What’s your favourite service to perform and why?

Karolina: I love working with blondes! It’s the most challenging service, but that’s what makes it so rewarding. Helping my clients achieve their dream look is the best feeling.

Q: Any career highlights or memorable moments?

Karolina: Volunteering at a high-end salon in Poland for three months was unforgettable. The styles there were incredibly modern — even ahead of what we were doing in Canada. I stood out for my creative work and attracted a crowd, which was so exciting!

Q: When you’re not in the salon, what do you enjoy doing for fun?

Karolina: I’m super active and love anything outdoors — hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, longboarding, running, snowboarding… you name it! I’m also into film and music.

Q: One fun fact about you?

Karolina: I speak three languages! I was born in Italy, my roots are in Poland, and English is my first language.
